Wow! So much has happened

 Good morning!  So much has happened in twenty (20) days!  First off, I want to give all my praise and glory to God the Father.  He has blessed me and my family each and every day.  Thank you Jesus for all that you have done in my life and in our lives.  We love you, in Jesus name we pray, Amen!  Hallejujah!!

Whew!  So, as I was saying so much has happened.  First, well secondly, I haven't posted here in twenty days!  Wow!  I can't say I was busy - just hanging out with the man folk and watching a lot of TV.  Lol!  Not what I'm use to doing!  Anyway, you know my cell phone has been with me the whole time and I've learned about some other sites to buy dolls other than eBay or Etsy.  Mercari.  I love this website!  I have been able to get whatever I'm looking for at this site!  So, since my last post, I had bought some MyScene dolls.  And you know that I found a Facebook group called MyScene Doll Lovers!  You know that's dangerous for me, right?  Lol!  MyScene dolls came out around 2002-2008.  Mattel stopped production of them due to a lawsuit against MGA.  Let me give you a little history about them....

The dolls stopped being sold in the US in 2008, but were still sold in other countries until 2011, when Mattel completely shut down the line.

There were a series of lawsuits between Mattel and another company called MGA Entertainment regarding the Bratz dolls MGA was making.

In a nutshell, Mattel sued MGA Entertainment for making the Bratz dolls because they claimed that the creator of those dolls was working for Mattel when he came up with the idea and design of the Bratz dolls, then gave that to MGA instead of Mattel.

MGA sued Mattel for copyright infringement, claiming their MyScene dolls were too similar to MGA’s Bratz dolls.   (Found this at Quora and answered by Diana Lucas , Doll collector for over 30 years)

Anyway, guess who else is FINALLY coming?  KENNEDY!!

Since my last post, I have acquired the following gals:

Happy D (as a red head) , P Bo (another Blonde) Aria and Indigo (FRESH dolls), CHELSEA, NOLEE AND another  MADISON!

Now I had planned on getting dolls with outfits (I like the My Scene dolls to wear their own fashions), but I think I might have to change my mind about that.

New My Scene gals coming:

Chelsea and Madison (curly hair), Delancey (original outfit), Chelsea and Barbie (I have NO Barbie my scene doll), 4 Kennedy's (guess I just wanted to make sure that I got her - Lol!) That's 9 dolls total!  Only 1 nude Kennedy which I believe might be Barbie, but I have to wait til she gets here.

I do have pictures but I want to take them separately, so you can see all the dolls that I've acquired.  New hairstyles and new outfits as well.  Plus, I'm supposed to be learning how to crochet clothes for all of them.  I'll just have to fit that in my schedule.  Well, that's all for now.  Updates with pictures once I've gotten everybody!

Renamed Nadirah

She and Camille were my birthday dolls and my

after cancer surgery dolls.  I was diagnosed with

breast cancer April 2010. While I was recovering at home

I received 2 knocks - 1 was for the cute stuffed

animal that came with an Edible Basket and the

2nd knock were these beautiful gals coming

to hang out with me so I didn't get bored. :D

Memories.....oh wow!

 It's been a couple of days since my last post, so let me get you up to date.   My dolly Helena apologized for her comment about me "getting a second job".  She needed to be "talked to" by the other dolls and have her role in MY DOLLY WORLD explained!  Lol!  She gets it.  Anyway, onto what I want to talk about now, before I forget.   

I was going thru some old emails like from 2010 and there were pictures that I did not have available to me because during that time I used to use a "CAMERA" to take pictures of the dolly children.  Yes, folks a CAMERA!  Lol!  Anyway, I found some of my old pictures of the dolls that I use to play with as much as possible from 2007!!  So, without further ado here are the pictures I was able to acquire from the past.  God is SO GOOD!

Lara Croft

she was the first big doll, who introduced me to dolls that 

are 16" and up.  So, she got to keep her name, because.

she was first.  While I waited for her to come to my home,

I got....

Yep, this handsome guy!  He's Will Turner of the

Pirates of the Caribbean show.  AKA Orlando Bloom.

When he first showed up at my door, it was like

"Love at first sight"!  He came wearing his

pirate outfit and his hair was in a ponytail.

I took it out and he is JUST SO HOT!!

But when he saw Lara, well that was it for any

other doll!  They fell in love with each other 

and have been inseparable ever since!! 

After they came, I stared looking for more

16" dolls and found.....

These are Esme' .  They are the AA friend of Tyler

Wentworth.  As you can see, I had this thing for red hair! 

LOL! (Note:  I still had my MY SCENE dolls

at the time.)

Then came Jacqulyn which is how I

spelled her name then.  Now it's just

Jacqueline.  I don't remember which

line she came from but she's still here

 and holding strong!

This is Antoinette!  She's a bit spoiled because

she was my first and not my last teenager!

You can't tell her she's not cute! Lol!

This is another Esme, she doesn't have the

bendable arms.  

She was a very serene doll and didn't let

anything upset her.  Her outfit was made

by my friend Jade Penni on eBay.  She made

a lot of clothes for these sized dolls, and since

I had many of them - they all needed clothes!

There was something going on with this guy,

Russell Williams - he was a player in every

sense and didn't mind playing with the

ladies.....

go.  Robert Tonner, decided to make an AA friend 

for Ellowyne and her name was Lizette Dionne.

One by one all my dolls had to go, some were sold,

others were given away to co-workers.
