New dolls coming plus an old favorite

Delancey:        Yawn! (brrr) Good afternoon everybody!  Did you all hear the news?

P Bo Blonde:    What news?  Oh, hi.

Delancey:           One of your sisters is coming, Kiyoni? I think that's her name.

P Bo Blonde:      Kiyoni Brown?  Kiyoni Brown is coming to live here?  Yippee!  Hey FLAVAS!  Kiyoni's coming!  Whoo hoo!

Tika:                   Yay, Kiyoni's coming!  Woot woot!

Delancey:            (taken aback.)  Ah, okay.  You'all need to calm down.  She's just another doll, besides she's not the only one coming.

Happy D 1st:      Who else is coming?

Me:                      They're called the Wild Hearts Doll Crew - They are a sisterhood of girls following their wild hearts' desires.  See their picture below.

P Bo Blonde:        Oooh, they're pretty!  I like the way Mom thinks.  (laughs)

P Bo Burgundy:    Yeah, I heard she was bringing us back plus getting some different girls like little braids Barbie.  Diversity in the dolly world!

Akesha:            Excuse me?  Little braids.....my name is not Little Braids, it is Akesha.

P Bo Burgundy:    Oh, sorry. A kee sha!  (looking embarrassed) So, who are these new girls?

Me                Hey now everybody calm down.  Akesha.  I like that.  It's different from everyone else's names.  Well, after I got the Kiyoni I wanted, I started drifting off just looking at other dolls when I happened upon these girls.

The Wild Hearts Crew

Cori Cruize & a close up
Cori Cruize - loves music

Rallee Rawlings plays the guitar and
loves PIZZA

Kenna Roswell - Photographer

Charlie Lake - loves animals

Jacy Master, curvy, loves the Classics
and skating

They are the Wild Hearts Crew and there are five of them.  Cori Cruize, Kenna Roswell,  Charlie Lake, Rallee Radmore and Jacy Masters.  They are an eclectic kind of doll and are very articulate.  Cori Cruize is a music lover, she's never without her walkman and headphones, Rallee Radmore loves pizza and plays the guitar, Charlie Lake is an animal lover, Kenna Roswell is the photographer and last but not least Jacy Masters who loves the Classics (everything!) and skating.  I can't wait til these gals come - they'll all be here next week starting Monday thru Friday.  And I finally got the BMR1959 AA Curvy Barbie, she'll be here on Friday, she's being renamed Ashante'.  I just love these different dolls that I've fallen in love with!!  I even ordered another Cori Cruize doll - her name will be Corinne Cruize - they'll be the twins.

Just when I thought I'd seen the last of any new dolls, I discovered Rainbow High dolls!!  They're designed by colors and there are six of them.  They can be found at Walmart and/or Amazon and are priced at 26.88/.99.  They are 10.5" tall and are also very articulate.  I'll post a picture tomorrow.  I just want to add their names - Sunny Madison (Dk tone) represents Yellow, Skyler Bradshaw (med tone) represents Blue, Violet Willow, represents Purple; Ruby Anderson represents Red, Jade Hunter represents Green and Poppy Rowan represents Orange and they can be found at Walmart and Amazon.  But I'll have to wait until after December - January to get them as my long lost gals are almost finished being repaired and will be coming home.

I can't wait until I can get together at a dolly gathering with my friends!!  They will be so surprised!  I definitely cannot post pictures of the dolls I'm buying on Instagram - hence no surprise.  I was trying to buy the dolls that they have like Fashion Royalty or the Japanese doll Suzie who is ALL GROWN UP.  I don't know, I might be tempted to get her.  She'll have to sit with the adult dolls!!

She's here!

She's here! My new Barbie BMR1959 and she is GORGEOUS!!

It's a little cloudy in the house....

Posing with Madison

In front of the other girls....

Introducing herself & making friends

Wish I'd could say that's all the dolls coming to this
house...but it ain't so!!  I like to have the dolls
represented.  So, I have 2 more dolls coming
and that will be it!  Especially since my
other (7) dolls went on a healing trip!
When they come back...whoo wheee watch out!

All in all that will conclude the amount of dolls
I have allowed myself .  50 is my limit!

Merry Christmas to me!!!

Now I just need to get them ALL some outfits, shoes, and accessories!

Thank you Jesus!  He makes all things possible!!
Amen!

Doll Talk

Madison:    Oh boy!  More dolls are coming to live here.

Melanie:      With us?  Where will they go?  There's no room!

Indirah:       You don't know our Mother, she'll make room.  But we'll probably end up paying for it.

Madison:      Why do you say that?  What's going to happen?

Indirah:        Well any time Mom falls for a new doll, we just get forgotten for a while until the newness falls off.

Madison:      What?

Tinea':          You should be happy.  I heard Mom say she was going to figure out a way that we can all get a little attention.

Indirah:        When did you hear that?

Tinea':           Earlier.  Didn't you see her look at us?  When she does that it means she's thinking of something for us.  Don't you pay attention?

Indirah:        Huh?  Since when did you get so smart?

Tinea':          I pay attention and listen.  Remember, I'm the quiet sister.  (she smiles)

Madison:     Oh, okay.  I get it.  Mom hasn't forgotten about us - she's just getting all her kids.  I hope she can get us some new clothes.  I wonder when Chels and Nolee are coming, I miss them.

Melanie:      Who's that?  Chels and No lee?  What kind of dolls are they?

Madison:     They're like us - they're My Scene dolls.  We're part of this big group, there's Me, Kenzie, Kennedy, Barbie, Chelsea and Nolee.

Kenzie:       But Mom could only find Chels and Nolee.

Melanie:     Why do you keep calling her...Chels?

Kenzie:       It's her nickname.  Mine is Kenz but nobody calls me that.  It sounds like a boys' name and I am all girl!  (laughing)

Melanie:    Oh, okay.  sigh.... Well I'll be glad when Mom stops getting new dolls.  We're running out of space.

Madison:   Then you haven't seen nothing.  Wait til the others get back.

Melanie:    Wait, what others?  There's more?!!!

Monique:   Yep, Mom sent my sister and some of the other girls to get fixed.

Melanie:     (looks around in shock)  Get fixed?  What happened?  Did they get ..... broken? sniff

Monique:   (looks at Melanie like she's crazy) Lol!  No girl, they didn't get broken.  They're getting re-strung.  We're , Me, Indirah and Tinea' are put together with a certain kind of string.  It helps us to sit up without falling all over the place.

Melanie:   (with tears on her face, wipes them up)  sniff, sniff  Oh.  (She turns to Madison) are we put together with string?   She starts looking at herself.

Madison:   (looks at the ceiling and starts giggling)

Monique and everyone else starts laughing!

Melanie:     I don't see what's so funny.

Everyone laughs even harder!  (Even I have a smile on my face)

Me:            Melanie, sweetheart.  You and everyone here are made by different companies.  You and your sister and the rest of the My Scene gals are .....never mind.  Everybody's just made up differently.  It's okay.  Don't cry.  I love everyone the same - you're all my girls.  (I pick her up and put her next to me on the desk).  You're such a funny girl.  But I love you as do your sisters. When Madison stops laughing, she'll explain it better.  Every doll is made, well actually Dottie and Emily, Emma, Juliette, Monique, Tinea', and Indirah were all made by Robert Tonner and his company.  Their bodies are made up differently than yours, Tika and Happy D.  Happy D, I'm going to give you a new name.  Your sister is coming to live with us soon and I can't call both of you by the same name.  Now that I think about it, you and Mads, Kenzie, Kennedy and the new dolls are all made by the same company, called Mattel.  Oops, I forgot.  One more gal is coming, her name is Yara Shahidi who is also from Mattel.  You'll see her when she gets here.  She's reminding us all to vote.  This year's election for the new presidency is adamant.  Anyway, that's for another story.

Well, time for me to call it quits for now.  Going to watch a movie before bed.  Goodnight all and God's blessing to all his children.

All the girls:   "Goodnight Mama!  We love you! (giggles are heard)"

OMGosh! What have I done?!

Today is October 21, 2020 and I was doing so good - I was not on the computer looking at dolls.  I wasn't!  I was focused on my health situation, hanging out with hubby and trying not to fall asleep on that darn comfortable reclining chair!! Lol!  It's so hard to sit in that chair without falling asleep.  Anyhoo, my phone was in the bedroom.  I didn't get any more deliveries today.

So, I was looking at the clock and realized that it was 3:30 pm and I almost forgot that I was at work at home and in 30 more minutes I was supposed to call out.  So, I jumped up, grabbed my phone and the first thing I did was go to my eBay app.  Why did I do that?  Well, I received a response from one of the sellers who I bought a Flava doll from - only she sent me the wrong doll.  You know I still have this thing for dolls with red to burgundy colored hair and which is P Bo, and she sent me Happy D who has blonde hair with black streaks.  But when I took her out the box I couldn't recall who I bought this doll from.  Because I got an offer from another seller who use to collect these dolls.  She was selling three (3) P Bo's and one (1) Happy D for about $113.00 for all of them.  I had already purchased a nude P Bo with the burgundy with blonde streaks in her hair already.  So I have been looking at these dolls and WATCHING them.  Anyway, I realized that a lot of these sellers really want to sell their stuff, so they've been sending me OFFERS at a discounted price.  So when this seller with the 4 Flava dolls offered to sell them to me at $95.50 I couldn't refuse because she had the one that I really wanted!!

Well the seller who sent me the wrong doll stated that her worker didn't understand about dolls, and that she would refund me $5.00.  I paid $25.00 for the doll.  So I told her that I would accept the $5 and keep the doll, especially since the doll was familiarizing herself with Tika and the other dolls.  So, then the seller said she didn't understand how to refund the $5 and that she was relisting the doll that I wanted, and if I accepted she would sell her for me at $20.00.  But after I thought about it, I said, "Nah, keep the $5.00 give it to someone else (like maybe someone might be short) and I'll just buy me another doll because I already had that same doll coming very soon - either by the end of this week or next week.  Once I made that decision, I started looking around and I had this doll on my new watchlist....

Yayah!  This is a new and improved Barbie doll.  She is the Barbie BMR1959 which stands for Barbara Millicent Roberts, 1959.  1959 is the year she came to be.  So this is the newer Barbie, with tiny individual braids, fully articulate body (this girl can move!) and gorgeous to beat!  The first time I saw this doll, I my first thought was, "hmmm, maybe" because I'd already accumulated the four Tiny Kitty dolls, the My Scene dolls and now the Flava dolls.  But I realized that Christmas is coming and I always try to buy something that I like.  Two years ago, I purchased about five dolls - three were Lizette Dionne and Windy Evenings Angelique De La Nuit and Parnilla Ghastly - In The Storm's Eye.  (you can see their pics in a previous post).  Guess what?  She's going to need new clothes, because she has the new curvy body.  So, I thought I'd buy some more Fashionista dolls with the curvy body, steal their clothes and then sell the nude dolls on eBay very cheap.

Well, last night I was up looking at these dolls in Walmart.  This gal went for $33.92 something like and the seller on eBay offered her to me for $24.00!!  So, I was so excited that I bought her just like that and she's coming here next week!!  But she's going to need some new clothes....

Then I remembered, my girlfriend was telling me about these Fashionista dolls with the curvy bodies.  When I saw this gal, I really wanted her!  But I was trying to stay true to my 16", 18.5" and 19" dolls.  But when I saw some pictures of Tiny Kitty, I was lost.  I had to get them again.  But it was so hard, because Robert Tonner (he's the guy who made them) stopped making them so of course all the doll collectors who have this doll was selling them from $65- 125 dollars!!  I had signed up with a Tonner group on FB that caters to the Tiny Kitty Collier doll as well as the 18" Kitty Collier doll.  So, after going through the pages, I was just begging anyone to sell me one of their dolls.  A couple of days later, I was on Messenger when one of the young ladies on my FB group - sent me a message.  She was selling these dolls!  I asked her to send me some pictures and guess what?  They were the same dolls I was looking at on eBay!!  When I told her that, she was quite surprised.  She suggested that if I wanted them to give her an offer for them - so I got both of them for $50.  That's two dolls!  And they were in excellent condition!  But I digress, I wanted an African American TK named Dottie.  Dottie was Tiny Kitty's best friend.  Another young lady from my FB group had purchased two Dottie's and only wanted one and since I was looking for one asked if I would buy the one she had at the price she paid for on eBay.  So, I said yes - only she was from Italy and I would have to pay shipping costs and custom fees.  But I REALLY WANTED THIS DOLL - so I would pay the costs.  Once I figured out how much it would cost to get this doll, ($40 plus $17 shipping and I didn't even know how much she paid for the doll), I decided to pass.  I would just have to pray on it and wait.

Everyday, I looked on eBay and then somebody sent me an offer.  They were selling Dottie for $129.99 and offered me $120.00.  I declined.  Even though that was the doll I wanted, that was still kind of steep.  So, I kept looking around and nothing was forthcoming.  After looking for a week, I decided to make an offer on the same doll for $100.  The seller accepted (I know they really wanted to sell this doll) and I got my Dottie!  She's so precious!  She's more quieter than my previous doll, renamed Thea.

I hadn't meant to write this much, but here's the rest of the pictures of the dolls I plan to buy, strip them of their clothes and sell them on eBay.

I almost forgot, I remembered that I use to buy doll clothes for my other Barbie's, My Scene, Fashion Royalties from an Etsy seller.  Can you believe that was in 2008?  Wow!  Anyway, lol! I found another seller from 2012 and she is still making clothes.  So, I just have to touch base with her and let her know that I need some new curvy doll outfits.  Its a shame about this pandemic, but thank goodness there's little oval/park that I can bring my dolls to and take pictures of them.  Nobody really bothers me.  I took my gals out last week and one person wanted to bring some clothes to sell.  I don't think anybody would've bought because everybody is a bit tight with money these days.  Even me!  Yep, I'll be paying for these dolls - but they're worth it!!  Alright, time to watch a movie!  Later alligators!  God bless everyone and be safe.    Peace out! Lol!

What's happening with Mom? Doll Talk & Self Talk

Kennedy:    I don't care what's going on with Mom.  She looks happy now.  Before she was looking angry, lost and confused.  This new attitude, I like it.  I wanna dance too!

Melanie:       Hip hip! I agree!  The more the merrier!

Kenzie:         Did you see the way she keeps looking at us?

Melanie:        It just means she's thinking of something for us.

Monique:        How do you know?  You've only been here a minute!

Melanie:          Well, she put a new dress on Emma and she bought them some doll stands.

Monique:         But how do you know that?

Melanie:          I guess you forgot about the "mind dolly-link" we all share with Mom.

Monique:        (.....)

Dottie:            We can hear her thoughts, especially when she's thinking of buying something for us.  I guess since you've been gone you forgot about that.

Monique:        Yep.   sigh.....

Dottie            Don't feel bad.  It happens.  I didn't think we'd ever come back to live here, but yet here we are.  There's not as many of us but you know what happens when there's too many of us? Some of us get lost in the sauce.

Dottie is so right!  "I'm so excited", singing out the bedroom door towards the kitchen!  Time to make some dinner!  Lata dolly children!

**Side note:  Have I lost my doll lovin' mind?  It's the year 2022 and as I reread these posts my mind wonders where I'm going with this.

Conversation between the A's:  Angelique, Angie and Angel

Angie:   You don't rebuy all the dolls that you sold!! You keep the pictures as a reminder of all the fun times with them.  We don't have any doll furniture, that's all GONE!!  So, what do you plan on doing with all these dolls?  We don't have any SPACE in this apartment to go and buy all the furniture you used to have!!  What? You didn't think about all that?  sigh

Angelique:  ...... I know you're right.  As I sit here talking to my inner self, I realize one thing.....what's my plan with buying all these dolls again?!  This is the year that I'm supposed to buy NEW DOLLS!!

Angel:  Yeah, that's right!  New dolls!!  So, what's your plan?  You know we don't even have enough places to put all these dolls that you don't even play with!!  My Scene has been sitting in that bag since you gathered them all up to put the Rainbow High dolls on the table.  Then after YOU SAID YOU WERE NOT GOING TO BUY A NEWER DOLL ~ LOL DOLLS!! NOW WHAT?!!  So, what are you going to do?

Angelique:  I guess I'd better get those addresses of the ladies from my Instagram group and send them the dolls that I don't plan on playing with.  OMGosh!  (hangs head down and shakes it side to side)

Angie:  What, Angelique?  What did you do?

Angelique:  I don't know what's wrong with me!  Why do I keep buying dolls that I have no intention of playing with?  I was on Instagram and I saw some dolls from my friend's posts and now I have them.  I hope they can fit all those clothes I bought for the MyScene dolls, otherwise they'll have to go.  .... Well, not the Asian doll or the one with the Red Hair and/or maybe the curvy doll.  Oh boy!

Angel:  What now?!!  What else did you do?!!

Angelique:  I bought Indigo Obsession Barbie and another M2M Curvy Barbie so I can swap their bodies.

Angel and Angie (together):  OH NO!  We're not talking to you no more!  You're crazy!!

New/Old Dolls are coming back!

If you saw my previous post, the same day - you'll see that I was HOT, HOT, HOT! Because I thought I was bidding on a DOLL with clothes and NOT just CLOTHES!!  Anyway, Delancey got a new outfit!  Its Kiyoni Brown's outfit.  I'm still a little annoyed, but not too much.  You know why? Yep you guessed it!  I got some NEW DOLLS!!  And not just NEW DOLLS - all the P Bo's I could possibly want!!!

P Bo (2)

P Bo #2 - This one is my favorite (3)

I got these as a 4 box set.  The seller was a doll collector
who was selling these dolls and made me an offer that
I couldn't refuse!
From left to right (3) P Bo's and on the bottom
and one Happy D on the bottom right.
Here's her single picture * Happy D*

This blonde P Bo, I didn't have

I didn't want to repeat their pictures again
because it would get confusing.
But I'm so happy, happy, happy!
Doing the happy dance from my chair!
No matter what the cost!

Mind you I paid way more for Lizette dolls than all
of these gals put together, so I need to stop sweatin!
Lol!

They'll all be coming between the next two weeks!
I probably won't get any sleep!!
The girls are looking at me like I don lost my mindz!

LOL!

I'm not EVEN thinking about making jewelry and got
my stuff sitting right next to me!!

I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it!
I already lost control and I think I like it! (sing 2x)
I know, I know, I know and I know I got you!!
I got you!! (the music fades into the background!)

Thank you Jesus!!!
I give HIM all the praise and the glory!!
HE makes all things possible!

Now I just have to get them some doll stands.  So, that'll be 8 Flava dolls!
Tika, P Bo x2 plus the ones pictured up in here!!

Urgh! I just remembered something,
I still have to pay for 7 dolls that need
re-stringing!  Ah! That's okay, I'll cross
that bridge when I come to it.

HAVE A BLESSED DAY
AND
STAY SAFE!!

What the heck is going on? - eBay sellers

I am so mad at myself.  In my haste to buy the dolls that I had before - I never stopped to read the whole description of the auction.  I thought I'd bought Kiyoni Brown Flava Doll.  NOPE! NOT! NADA!  What did I buy - an outfit.  That's right - A D*&$# outfit!!!

Okay, FINE!  I know my MY SCENE dolls need clothes, but really!  STUPID, STUPID, STUPID ME!!

Thank you for letting me vent!

Doll Talk

Emma:  Did I "hear" Mom say that we have more Tiny Kitty's coming?  To live here?

Emily:   Yep.  (yawn)  I don't know why I'm so sleepy.  Zzzzzzzzz (snore)

Brittany:  Hey Emma, welcome to the family.

Emma:    Thank you, I think.  We were here before.....

Brittany: .....

Monique:  Well, I would say I was here the longest, but I lived with another dolly lover for a while.  But now I'm back home.  I don't remember you guys.  I think you were already gone by the time we started popping up.

Savannah:  Well, I've been here longer than all of you.  I was the second 16" doll to come live here.  I'm still here.  (smiles happily)  Mom loves me! Now, more about how Tiny Kitty came to be.... from DOLLS magazine......
"Good things come in small packages. Less is more. We’re all familiar with the clichés that teach us that, well, bigger is not always better! If you need further proof that small is best, here it–rather, here she–is! Tiny Kitty Collier, the latest fashion doll from the Tonner Doll Company, is pretty and poseable, yet small enough to sit in your hand.  Just ten inches tall, the little looker is Robert Tonner’s smallest fashion doll to date. Tiny, yes, but not short on style: Tiny Kitty boasts a wardrobe that any fashion doll would covet. Unlike her larger cousins, however, Tiny Kitty has a magical, sprite-like quality that makes her most endearing. Think Tinker Bell in haute couture, and you pretty much have the picture."    Check out the rest of the story here - https://dollsmagazine.com/sitting-pretty-with-tiny-kitty/

In my opinion, when I hold this little doll next to my 16" doll, she looks so tiny! I mean she can be a "doll" to my dolls.  But soon I'll have more Tiny Kitty's in their own little area for me to play with!!  Ta ta my dolly people!

Stay safe, wear your masks and BE BLESSED!

Doll Talk

Ashley:  (yawning) Brr, I'm so glad Mom finally took me out of that bag.

Olivia:  Yep, me too.  (Shaking her head) Wha?  Wait a minute, who's Ashley?  Where's Elizabeth?

Ashley:  I used to be called Elizabeth, but I felt like an Ashley.  So that's who I am now.

Olivia:   Oh.  Okay Ashley.  Hmm, Ashley (looks at Ashley)  Ooookay, you do look like an Ashley.  So, is Mom calling you that?

Ashley:   Yep, she tried calling me Elizabeth,  but when I didn't respond, she just looked confused.  I told her that I didn't feel like an Elizabeth and she said, "Okay Ashley it is!"

Olivia:  Wow!  I heard Mom's been taking all of us to work with her.  Brittany and I went today.  We even met a new doll named Emma.  She's a Tiny Kitty doll.

Ashley:  Tiny Kitty?  Is she a little cat?

Olivia:   No, she's a doll silly. Lol!

Emma:  Mmm mmm I am not a little cat!  I'm called Tiny Kitty because there is a bigger doll named Tiny Kitty who is 18" tall.

Ashley:  Oh.  But why Tiny Kitty?

Emma:  A guy named Robert Tonner created us.  He created you too!  But you would have to ask Mom about my story.  Mom!?!  Where are you?!

Me:    I'm right here!  What's with all the yelling?  I can hear you!

Emma: (blushing) Oh sorry.  Ashley wants to know about me, can you help her?

Me:  Sure, I'm looking for your story right now.  I need to know too!  Where's Emily?

Emily:  (yawn), huh?  Here I am Mom.  I was very tired.

Me:   Did you get a good nap?

Emily:  Yes, (smiling).  What's going on?

Emma:  Did you hear?  Mom's going to find the story about us.
